Letter from the American Association of <br />Retired Persons, Inc., June 10, 1982, <br />requesting installation of former <br />"Climate Best by Government Test" sign <br /> <br />WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Stangel determined it to <br />be the consensus of Council that a "Cl imate <br />Best By Government Test" sign be constructed <br />and installed in an appropriate place in the <br />City and appointed Councilman Bury to be <br />Chairman of a committee to pursue the matter. <br /> <br />It was pointed out that the Kiwanis Club had <br />recently indicated an interest in re- <br />storing the sign to the City and that such <br />a sign might be an appropriate undertaking <br />for the service clubs in the City. <br />(Memo 6/22/82) <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> <br />GENERAL <br />1. <br /> <br />Councilman Britschgi called attention to the copy of letter of May 27, 1982 <br />from Director of Public Works Addiego to residents of Farm Hill Boulevard and <br />Country Club Drive regarding requested walkway abandonment on Farm Hill <br />Boulevard stating that one of the addressees had suggested they might attend <br />the July 12 City Council meeting to comment on the matter. In response to <br />question, Director of Public Works Addiego reported he has details on the <br />subject and the matter could be placed on the July 12 Agenda and the residents <br />notified. (Memo 6/22/82) <br /> <br />In response to questions regarding copies of communications transmitted to <br />Council relating to a Tentative Parcel Map at 535 East Bayshore Road, Planning <br />Director Schroeter reported that the letters refer to an application for such <br />a Map for a lot split creating two parcels and was considered by the Sub- <br />division Committee on March 24, 1982 and approved with certain conditions <br />based on recommendations of the Director of Public Works. Mr. Schroeter <br />advised that the appeal date for the action has long since passed, and agreed <br />to communicate with the writers on the subject.
