8. ADJOURNMENT - <br />M/S Foust/Hartnett to adjourn until the next regular City Council meeting of February <br />28, 2005 in memory of Shannan Price, native and employee of Redwood City. She <br />was the director of the after school activities program for the Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Department. She was one of the best leaders that the <br />Sandpiper Community Center had ever seen and she died February 3 at the age of <br />25. She was an accomplished athlete, obtaining a softball scholarship to San <br />Francisco State University, patterning herself after Babe Ruth. Her time at Sandpiper <br />serving 90 children earned her an extremely high level of respect. <br />The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Patricia S.
