Girl Scout Troop 1779 Flag Ceremony <br />Troop Members participated in the flag ceremony and announced their favorite <br />badge. <br />6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR <br />M/S Hartnett/Foust to waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances <br />by title, adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. The <br />motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote with Mayor Ira not participating on <br />Item 6.1.F due to a potential conflict of interest; and Item 6.3 removed from <br />consideration at this time. <br />Janet Borgens invited the City Council and listening audience to the annual <br />Peninsula Sunrise Rotary and Kainos sponsored Irish Night Event on Saturday night, <br />March 19 at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center. The cost is $25.00 per ticket and <br />the funds raised total approximately $32,000.00 annually, with the funds split <br />between the two organizations for Kainos and multiple charities within Redwood City. <br />The event first began with Pete and Ginny Hughes and has grown tremendously in <br />the community. <br />6.1 Section — Motions <br />A.
