<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO. ONE TO EXTEND AND AMEND AGREEMENT FOR <br />WATER QUALITY MONITORING & REPORTING SERVICES <br />OF REDWOOD SHORES LAGOON <br /> <br />(Scott Cressey, Consultant) <br /> <br />This Amendment No.1 is entered into and effective as of the c?4Æ day of <br />/JW¡1 ß , 2006, extending and amending the agreement dated <br />February 28, 2005 (the "Agreemenf) by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and Scott <br />Cressey, a sole proprietor, ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties") to provide water <br />quality testing, monitoring and reporting in accordance with the regulations of the State <br />Water Resources Board for the Redwood Shore Lagoon. <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. The Parties desire to extend the Agreement for a period of one year to <br />January 31,2007; and <br /> <br />E. The Parties have negotiated and agreed to continue the scope of work <br />and fee schedule under Exhibit A of the Original Agreement, incorporated herein by <br />reference. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, is <br />hereby extended for a period of one ending on January 31, 2007 and Consultant will be <br />paid a not to exceed amount of Twenty-One Thousand Five Hundred and no/100 <br />Dollars ($21,500.00). <br /> <br />The total compensation is hereby increased to total the not to exceed amount of <br />Forty-Three Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($43,000.00) for the full term of the <br />Agreement and its Amendment. <br /> <br />2. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from <br />time to time, will remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />3. All requisite insurance policies to be maintained by the Consultant <br />pursuant to the Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, will include <br />coverage for this Amendment. <br />
