'., <br />J! <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />[TRANSAMERICAN ENGINEERS] <br /> <br />THIS <br /> <br />AGREEMENT, <br /> <br />made <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />entered <br /> <br />into <br /> <br />~<~ <br />this 'd-::> day <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />&\.1 <br /> <br />, 2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br /> <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and TRANSAMERICAN <br /> <br />ENGINEERS ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City proposes to install 1,620 feet of storm drain in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />surveying and engineering services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant shall prepare base map, <br /> <br />construction documents, and perform surveying and engineering services further <br /> <br />described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
