<br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />O&ß~( <br /> <br />TI-~IS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this J 0-+1- day of <br /> <br /> <br />~, 2003, by and between REDWOOD CITY 2020, through its fiscal <br /> <br /> <br />agent, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State <br /> <br />of California ("City"), and REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT ("Consultant") <br /> <br />(collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for Fiscal Year 2003/2004, City proposes to contract with <br /> <br />Consultant, in support of the City of Redwood City Early Learning and Family Support <br /> <br />Program and School Readiness Initiative in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting services of family support services for children ages 0 to 5; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant shall perform consulting and <br /> <br />related services described in Exhibit "A-1" through "A-3", attached hereto and by this <br /> <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT.
