<br />71100 - q ~ - ]) 0 I L{ <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />f {I ,'It, / <br />1.",,','1(, <br /> <br />B¿~;" <br /> <br /> <br />."1 -. <br />- 06/03/~.~ J I <br /> <br />I , <br /> <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, REDWOOD CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />AND SEQUOIA UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />(Redwood City 2000 Commu~ity Aetfton and Resource Council) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this- day of <br />199~, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political subdivision of the <br />State of California, ("County"); the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, ("City"); REDWOOD CITY ELEMENTARY <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT, an elementary school district, ("Elementary School District"); and <br /> <br />SEQUOIA UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT, a high school district, ("High School <br />District"); all of which entities are referred to collectively as "the Parties". <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that the Parties enter into an agreement <br />to establish a Redwood City 2000 Community Action and Resource Council to provide <br /> <br />oversight to multiple collaborative programs designed to improve the health and quality <br />of life in Redwood City and to provide a forum for collaborative needs assessment and <br />community planning based on the National Civic League Healthy Communities Model: <br />NOW THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUT AL COVENANTS <br />AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. PURPOSE. The Parties are entering into this Agreement for the sole purpose of <br />providing assistance to and allowing the establishment of a, RedwQQd .Ci~ 2000 <br />, , "',.' ';'>' '." <br /> <br />Community Action and Resource Council (the "Community Action and Resource <br />Council"). The Community Action and Resource Council exists for three major <br /> <br />purposes: <br />A.
