<br />B. City is authorized to receive money on behalf of the Redwood City 2000 <br />Community Action and Resource Council and deposit same into a special deposit <br />account in the City's General Fund. The money received on behalf of the <br />Redwood City 2000 Community Action and Resource Council shall be disbursed <br /> <br />as requested by the Redwood City 2000 Community Action and Resou:'ce <br />Council, Project Executive Director in writing, subject to administrative <br /> <br />procedures of City. <br />C. At no time shall the City be under any obligation to disburse money to the <br />Redwood City 2000 Community Action and Resource Council in excess of the <br /> <br />amount on deposit. The Committee acknowledges that money received by the <br />City will not be available for disbursement for three (3) business days ,Ifter the <br />funds have been deposited by City, or for a longer period, as deemed appropriate, <br />by City's Finance Director. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />HOLD HARMLESS. Each party hereto ("indemnitor") hereby agrees to defend, <br /> <br />indemnify, and save harmless each other party and its respective governing board, <br />council, officers, boards commissions, agents, and employees (collectively, <br /> <br />"Indemnitees") against and from any and all claims, suits, actions of every name, kind <br />and description, which may be brought against indemnitees, or any of them, b) reason of <br />any injury to, or death of, any person (including corporations, partnerships and <br /> <br />associations) or damage suffered or sustained by any such person arising from, or alleged <br />to have arisen from, any act or omission to act, negligent or otherwise, of indemnitees, its <br /> <br />officers, agents or employees under this Agreement. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />ACTS AND OMISSIONS OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. <br /> <br />The acts and omissions of the Executive Director and Assistant Project Administrator <br />shall not in any way be construed as the acts and omissions of the City but shal I be <br /> <br />construed, if at all, as the joint acts and omissions of the Parties. <br /> <br />6 <br />
