<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES - REDWOOD CITY SCHOOLS <br />PLAYING FIELDS IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br /></'f.!/ <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~. day of <br />~Þ?' 1999, by and between the- CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and THE BEALS <br /> <br />GROUP, INC. of San Jose, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the improvements of Redwood City school <br /> <br />playing fields at various locations throughout the City of Redwood City and in the <br /> <br />unincorporated area of San Mateo County (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting landscape design and engineering services; and <br /> <br />W-HEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform consulting <br /> <br />landscape design and engineering services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT.
