<br />FXS:mgl a~/25/93 (019/33) <br />/18/93R <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the value of the property interest to be received <br /> <br />by the City pursuant to said exchange equals or exceeds the value <br /> <br />of the property interest to be vacated; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />finds <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />public <br /> <br />service easement depicted and annotated on Exhibit A as "P.S.E. <br /> <br />Vacated," has been superseded by relocation, there are no other <br /> <br />public facilities located within said easement, and said easement <br /> <br />is no longer required for public purposes and, <br /> <br />therefore, <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />easement shall be, and is hereby ordered, vacated. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The City Clerk <br /> <br />is hereby <br /> <br />authorized <br /> <br />and directed <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />accept, on behalf of the City, <br /> <br />a deed of easement conveying to <br /> <br />City equivalent easement rights to that easement ordered vacated <br /> <br />pursuant to paragraph 1 hereof, in and to all that certain real <br /> <br />property <br /> <br />described <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />depicted <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />Exhibit <br /> <br />A <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />"P.S.E. <br /> <br />New <br /> <br />Grant". <br /> <br />3 . <br /> <br />The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Deed <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Easement <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Relinquishment of Prior Easement", <br /> <br />by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, a copy of <br /> <br />which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for the <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br />2 <br />
