<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />DES:djk 05/18/93 <br />5/24/93 <br /> <br />(015/34) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11991 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR PREPARATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />REPORT FOR THE PACIFIC SHORES CENTER PROJECT <br /> <br />(CERTIFIED/EARTH METRICS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Pacific <br /> <br />Shores <br /> <br />Center <br /> <br />Limited <br /> <br />Partnership, <br /> <br />(the <br /> <br />"Developer" ) <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />submitted <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />proposal <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />development <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />approximately <br /> <br />116 <br /> <br />acres <br /> <br />into a 1.5 million square <br /> <br />foot office <br /> <br />park center (the "Project") located in the County of San Mateo in <br /> <br />the vicinity of the easterly terminus of Seaport Boulevard in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in connection with the Project, preparation of an <br /> <br />Environmental Impact Report ("EIR") is required; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the City's Regulations implementing the <br /> <br />California Environmental Quality Act, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City has <br /> <br />determined <br /> <br />that said EIR shall be prepared pursuant to contract entered into <br /> <br />with a consultant subject to funding therefor by the Developer; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Developer <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />deposited <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />estimated <br /> <br />fees <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />costs <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />incurred <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CERTIFIED/Earth <br /> <br />Metrics <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Brisbane, <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br /> <br />expertise to perform the aforesaid consulting services required <br /> <br />for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />.
