<br />DES:djk-O4/29/93 <br /> <br />(076/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />5/24/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11990 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR COST ALLOCATION RELATING TO THE <br />RESURFACING OF BAY ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo proposes to advertise for <br /> <br />bids for the resurfacing of Bay Road between Second Avenue and <br /> <br />Florence Street (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the County has prepared plans and specifications <br /> <br />for the proj ect and has requested the City of Redwood City to <br /> <br />share the costs of said resurfacing since a portion thereof is <br /> <br />located within the corporate limits of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />reviewed <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />proposed <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />pursuant to which the City shall pay the County its proportionate <br /> <br />share of the costs of construction of the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled, <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Declaration <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />a County Highway <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Resurfacing, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Traffic Striping, the Raising of Water Value Boxes, Storm Drain <br /> <br />Manholes, <br /> <br />and Street Monuments <br /> <br />to Grade, <br /> <br />of Bay Road Between <br /> <br />Second Avenue and Florence Street in the Redwood City Area" (form <br /> <br />dated April-1993), <br /> <br />by and between the County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />political subdivision of the State of California and the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br />pursuant to which the City shall compensate the County for its <br />
