<br />DES:djk 05/04/93 <br /> <br />(044/27) <br /> <br />the Act, the City has followed its Citizen Participation Plan as <br /> <br />part of the process for determining how the grant funds herein <br /> <br />referenced will be used; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the aforementioned <br /> <br />application <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />Community <br /> <br />Development <br /> <br />Block <br /> <br />Grant <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />authorize <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />execution <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />thereto, <br /> <br />including all understandings and assurances connected therewith; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That certain application prepared for submission to the <br /> <br />United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a <br /> <br />Communi ty Development Block Grant pursuant to Title <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, a copy of which <br /> <br />application is on file in the office of the Community Development <br /> <br />Department of the City of Redwood City, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />This <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />does <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />certify <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood City has followed its adopted Citizen Participation Plan <br /> <br />as required by Section 104(a) of the Act. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and <br /> <br />file the aforesaid application, and all documents, including all <br /> <br />understandings <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />assurances, <br /> <br />necessary <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />appropriate <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />connection therewith, and to provide such additional information <br /> <br />as may be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />11982 <br /> <br />2 <br />
