MJP:mm~ 10/4/88 (#38/010) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE PREPARATION OF STANDARD <br /> DRAWINGS AND A DESIGN POLICY FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made this ~/~ day of ~ , <br />1988, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, ("City") and KCA <br />ENGINEERS, INC. ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WI TNE S SETH : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires consulting services for the <br />preparation of a complete and updated set of standard drawings <br />and a design policy for the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it is qualified to <br />furnish such services in accordance with the terms and conditions <br />hereinafter set forth; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall furnish <br />consulting services for the development of a set of standard <br />drawings and a design policy, as set forth in Consultant's <br />revised proposal dated September 7, 1988, which is attached as <br />"Exhibit A", and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION. City shall compensate Consultant on the <br />basis of the rates set forth in "Exhibit A" provided, however, <br />that said compensation shall not exceed the total amount of <br />Forty-five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($45,000.00) during the <br />term hereof, unless authorization be granted for compensation in <br /> <br /> <br />
