Ijk 04/22/93R <br />4/26/93 <br /> <br />11965 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />CONSULTING AGREEMENT <br />DISPATCHING SERVICES <br /> <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />RELATING TO CONSOLIDATION <br /> <br />OF <br />OF <br /> <br />(COMMUNICATIONS RESEARCH CORPORATION) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />study <br /> <br />consolidation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />certain dispatching operations of public safety and public works <br /> <br />activities <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />similar <br /> <br />operations <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />cities <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />special <br /> <br />districts in the vicinity of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there has been presented to and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council a proposed agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Communications <br /> <br />Research <br /> <br />Corporation, <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />California, to analyze such consolidation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Communications <br /> <br />Consolidation Feasibility Study", <br /> <br />(form dated 04/16/93) <br /> <br />by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California and Communications Research Corporation, of <br /> <br />Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />for the performance of communications <br /> <br />consulting <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />relating <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />consolidation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />dispatching <br /> <br />operation, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager <br /> <br />and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and <br /> <br />to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />,...'- -.-. -.."--'-'.---"'-.---'.'.-.'.-.'-----T"."---""."'---'-'.---- <br />
