Under Review <br /> <br />COMMISSION QUESTIONS <br />Commissioner Claire asked about the parking requirements, and expressed <br />concern about the amount of stalls per unit in proximity to the Caltrain Station, <br />and if we are really getting one vehicle per bedroom, or not. <br /> <br />Mr. Passanisi said staff would get him an update regarding the City's experience <br />with the Franklin Street Apartments in proximity to the Caltrain Station. <br /> <br />Chair Paulson said that she takes the short-cut through from Jefferson Avenue to <br />Franklin Street, and she has never seen a parking problem there. . <br /> <br />Ms. Ekas said staff did allow for some special accommodations by letting some <br />tandem stalls be provided, and sometimes there's a risk that they won't be used. <br />She said she hasn't seen any spill-over, and there have been no complaints. <br /> <br />Commission Piulle asked if the original Architectural Plans for this project have <br />changed. <br /> <br />Ms. Ekas said there were some revisions to the original plans, which <br />aesthetically improve the project. <br /> <br />Commissioner Piulle asked if the plans were approved by the Architectural <br />Review Committee. <br /> <br />Ms. Ekas said yes. <br /> <br />OPEN PUBLIC HEARING <br />Commissioner Garcia asked if there was a limitation to the size of vehicle that <br />could be parked in the stalls. <br /> <br />Page 9 of 10 <br /> <br />,."-.,,..-.. .. - ....-.-. --.. ...--....--..-..--."-..---..---.--..-... --.................. <br />
