Approve warrants dated through April 4, 2005 and usual and necessary <br />payments through April 11, 2005; MINUTE ORDER 05-58 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />5.1 Section - Motions (Continued) <br /> <br />B. Amendment No.1 to the Agreement for Professional Services with Freedman, <br />Tung & Bottomley (FTB) Urban Oesign for professional consulting services for <br />the Downtown Precise Plan. <br /> <br />Council Member Hartnett stated his general concern that the City watch the use <br />of consultants and not overuse them, watching the extended hours used <br />compared to what staff can do. He further stated that the City Manager assured <br />him that the services should keep the costs under $30,000.00 and not require <br />any additional amendments. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />MIS HartnettlBain to approve Amendment No.1 to Agreement for Pröfessional <br />Services with Freedman, Tung and Bottomley (FTB) for providing additional <br />consultant services related to the preparation of a Precise Plan for Oowntown <br />Redwood City, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00. The motion passed by <br />a unanimous voice vote by those present with Council Member Foust <br />absent. MINUTE ORDER RD 05-09 <br /> <br />6. STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Selection of Workers' Compensation Excess Insurance Policy <br /> <br />Human Resources Oirector Rivera-Peña explained the background leàding to <br />the proposal and the reason the City joined Bay Cities Joint Powers Insurance <br />Company (BCJPIC).
