Instead, important factors for the <br />developers interviewed were: infrastructure and improvement requirements; experience <br />and relationships with city staff, and processing time and complexity. <br /> <br />Best Practices <br />While conducting this study, the Coro Fellows found some practices of other cities that. <br />the City of Redwood City may consider implementing, including: <br /> <br />. Annual review of fees. <br />. Fee adjustments based on Consumer Price Index or other indicator. <br />. Compilation of all fee information into a master fee schedule. <br />. Availability of permit status information on the Internet.2 <br /> <br />The City will use this study as a benchmark to measure future impact fees and fee <br />increases against other cities, and also may consider implementing some of the suggested <br />best practices.
