DAS:mm~ 9/8/88 (#38/005) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> ENGINEERING REVIEW/PLAN CHECKING SERVICES <br /> REGATTA SUHDIVISION PROJECT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made this-~&~ day of ~ , <br />1988, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, ("City") and KCA <br /> <br />ENGINEERS, INC. ("Consultant"); <br /> W I TN E S S E TH : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires certain review/plan checking services <br /> <br />for the Regatta Subdivision Project (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it is qualified to <br />furnish such services in accordance with the terms and conditions <br />hereinafter set forth; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall furnish plan <br />checking services for the Project as set forth in Consultant's <br />proposal dated August 29, 1988, items I through IV which proposal <br />is attached as "Exhibit A", and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION. City shall compensate Consultant on the <br />basis of the rates set forth in "Exhibit A" provided, however, <br />that said compensation shall not exceed the total amount of <br />Twenty-one Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($21,000.00) during the <br />term hereof unless authorization be granted for compensation in <br />excess of said amount by motion duly made and carried by City's <br />City Council. <br /> <br /> 3. RECORDS, STATEMENTS, PAYMENT~ Consultant shall keep and <br />maintain accurate records of time devoted to rendering services <br /> <br /> <br />
