SWC:sh 12/13/85 <br /> <br /> Es0LuT 0N No. 10096 <br /> DEC1 6 1985 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING TIME EXTENSION ~O AGREEI~ENT WITH <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> REGARDING THE EL CAMINO REAL/CHARTER STREET TRAFFIC <br /> SIGNAL PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9521, adopted February <br />13, 1984, the City Council approved and authorized execution of <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the California <br />Department of Transportation for cooperation in the installation <br />and instruction of a traffic control system, safety lighting and <br />channelization at the intersection of Charter Street and E1 <br />Camino Real (State Highway 82); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said authorization, the City entered <br />into the aforesaid agreement No. 4-0902-C; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the term of the aforesaid agreement expires on <br />December 31, 1985, although the Project has not yet been <br />constructed, and is currently estimated for bid in March, 1986; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize <br />extension of the term of said agreement so as to enable the City <br /> <br />to complete said construction project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> This Council hereby authorizes extending the term of the <br />cooperative agreement between the City of Redwood City and the <br />California Department of Transportation, No. 4-0902-C, to <br />December 31, 1986, and hereby directs appropriate City personnel <br />to execute any further documents necessary to effect such <br /> <br />extension. <br /> <br /> · · · t t9096 <br /> <br /> <br />
