<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this Jl!1 day of <br />~ <br />~, 2003, by and between REDWOOD CITY 2020, through its fiscal <br /> <br />agent, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State <br /> <br />of California ("City"), and REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT ("Consultant") <br /> <br />(collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City proposes to contract with Consultant, in support of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City Early Learning and Family Support Program and School Readiness <br /> <br />Initiative in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting services of family support services for children ages 0 to 5; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant shall perform consulting and <br /> <br />related services described in Exhibit "A-1" through "A-6", hereof (hereinafter referred to <br /> <br />as Exhibit "A"), attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in the amounts shown in <br /> <br />F:Atty/Agr/Agr.125 <br />060403 <br />
