<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this æ day of <br /> <br /> <br />S~ ,2003, by and between REDWOOD CITY 2020, through its fiscal <br /> <br />agent, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State <br /> <br />of California ("City"), and REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT ("Consultant") <br /> <br />(collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City proposes to contract with Consultant, in support of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City Community Schools Project in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting services of recruitment, hiring, development and coordination of community <br /> <br />participation in the community school assessment and John W. Gardner Center <br /> <br />Academy for community youth development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES.
