<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />(8-15-93) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12049 <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH CENTER FOR INDEPENDENCE OF THE DISABLED, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled, Inc., has been <br />established for the principal purpose of providing support services for <br /> <br />the disabled geared to assist in their independence; and <br />WHEREAS, Center for Independence of the Disabled, Inc., has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending <br /> <br />June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Center for Independence of the Disabled, Inc., the <br /> <br />sum of EIGHT THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($8,160.00); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Center for Independence <br /> <br />of the Disabled, Inc., and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/15/93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Center for Independence of the Disabled, <br /> <br />Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />'-"""" ".."....._"'---""""--""-...,,"'_.._-_.,.,-'~-_._------"--'----,----- <br />
