<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />\8-15-93) <br /> <br />RES 0 l UTI 0 N N O. 12048 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE PENINSULA <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Boys & Girls Club of The Peninsula, has been <br />established for the principal purpose of providing a recreational <br /> <br />and educational program for youth in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to pay to Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula the sum of EIGHT- <br /> <br />THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED THIRTY AND NO/IOO Dollars ($8,330.00). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Boys & Girls Club of <br /> <br />the Peninsula and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOllOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between the <br />City of Redwood City and Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula, a copy <br /> <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-- -.------..--....-.....--------.-- <br />
