<br />FXS:dft <br /> <br />7/27/93 (007h/35) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/16/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- -- <br /> <br />12034 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE <br />OF THE DISABLED <br /> <br />(HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY <br />MODIFICATION PROGRAM) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Center <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Independence <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Disabled <br /> <br />("Contractor") <br /> <br />conducts <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />housing <br /> <br />accessibility <br /> <br />program <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />residents of the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br /> <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty Thousand <br /> <br />and No/IOO Dollars ($20,000.00) from its Community Development <br /> <br />Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled, <br /> <br />"Center <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Independence of the Disabled (Housing Accessibility Modification <br /> <br />Program)", <br /> <br />(form dated 7/27/93), <br /> <br />by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Center for the Independence of the Disabled, a <br /> <br />dO...................
