<br />DES:djk 0.]/20/93 <br /> <br />(101/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/16/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12032 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTU~L SERVICES RELATING TO RED <br />MORTON COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br />(BULL, STOCKWELL, ALLEN & RIPLEY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to construct a <br /> <br />new community center at the existing <br /> <br />site <br /> <br />of the Red Morton <br /> <br />Center in the City of Redwood City, California (the "project"); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires <br /> <br />expert consulting architectural and engineering services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the firm of Bull, Stockwell, Allen & Ripley, of San <br /> <br />Francisco, <br /> <br />California represents <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is qualified on the <br /> <br />basis <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />experience <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />expertise <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />perform <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforesaid <br /> <br />services required for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />Architectural Services - Red Morton Community Center" (form dated <br /> <br />07/21/93R), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California and Bull, Stockwell, Allen <br /> <br />& Ripley, for the performance of 'the above-mentioned services, a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, <br /> <br />to which <br /> <br />copy <br /> <br />reference <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby made <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager and <br /> <br />City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and to <br />
