<br />DES:djk 07/27/93 <br /> <br />(079/32) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/16/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />12031 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br />THREE (3) POLICE VEHICLES UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br />PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY BID #T-337 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty may <br /> <br />request <br /> <br />any <br /> <br />local <br /> <br />agency <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />defined by <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />54201 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />Government <br /> <br />Code <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Los <br /> <br />Angeles <br /> <br />County, <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />#T-337 <br /> <br />includes <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br /> <br />the opportunity to purchase police vehicles from Sopp Chevrolet; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of Los Angeles County conforms to <br /> <br />the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />purchase three <br /> <br />(3) police vehicles from Sopp Chevrolet pursuant <br /> <br />to the Cooperative Purchase provision of Los Angeles County Bid <br /> <br />#T-337; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of three (3) police <br /> <br />vehicles from Sopp Chevrolet in the total amount of Forty-four <br /> <br />Thousand Three Hundred Forty-five and 85/100 Dollars ($44,345.85) <br /> <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provisions of Los Angeles <br /> <br />,.....".,. ,....
