MJP:mmg 03/07/89 (~40/005) <br /> MJP:mm 93/13/89R <br /> <br /> Ampex Corporation is willing to pay one-half of the cost of such <br /> services; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES HERETO AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. SIDEWALK AND TREE REPAIR SERVICES. City agrees to <br /> provide, through its Contractor, sidewalk repair and tree <br /> replacement services, on the sidewalks on the eastern side of <br /> Broadway, the western side of Broadway, and the eastern side of <br /> Bay Road in Redwood City, in the vicinity of Ampex Corporation, <br /> as set forth in the"AMPEX SIDEWALK APPRAISAL", attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference, and in the <br /> "SIDEWALK REPAIR AND TREE PROGRAM FIELD REPORT", attached hereto <br /> as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> 2. AMOUNT O~ COMPENSATION. In consideration for the City's <br />prompt commencement, through its Contractor, of such sidewalk <br />repair and tree replacement work after the approval of this <br />Agreement by the City Council of Redwood City, Ampex agrees to <br />pay one-half of the total cost of such services. City agrees to <br />pay the remaining one-half of the total cost of such sidewalk <br />repair and tree replacement services up to and not exceeding a <br />maximum expenditure by City of thirty five thousand dollars <br />($35,000.00). <br /> <br /> The total cost of such services is estimated to be <br />approximately sixty six thousand five hundred and twenty five <br />dollars and no cents ($66,525.00), as set forth in the "COST <br />ESTIMATES" and "TREE REPLACEMENT ESTIMATES", which are <br />respectively attached hereto as Exhibits C and D, and are <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
