DAS:mmg n5/18/89 (%40/017) <br /> <br /> (j) Contractor shall also comply with the provisions <br /> of 29 CFR 5a.3 and all amendments thereto, relating to Labor <br /> Standards for ratios of apprentices and trainees to <br /> journeymen. <br /> <br /> (k) The Contractor and each subcontractor shall <br /> furnish to the City within seven days after the regular <br /> payment date of the weekly payroll period, a statement with <br /> respect to wages paid to each of their respective employees, <br /> in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. <br /> <br /> (1) Violators of the aforementioned labor provisions <br /> shall be subject to penalties provided by appropriate state, <br /> federal and local statutes, the particulars of which are set <br /> forth more fully in the Contract Specifications. <br /> <br /> 5. In compliance with affirmative action and Section 3 <br />requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development, Contractor hereby adopts and agrees to comply with <br />City's Section 3 Affirmative Action Plan. Contractor further <br />acknowledges and agrees to comply with the Federal Equal <br />Employment Opportunity goals for women and minorities in San <br />Mateo County. Contractor shall furnish to City monthly data and <br />to the U.S. Department of Labor, monthly data to evidence <br />compliance with the equal employment opportunity goals. <br /> <br /> 6. Preference in the performance of labor under this <br />Agreement shall be given to persons who shall have actually <br />resided in said City of Redwood City for a period of one (1) year <br />next preceding the date of this Agreement. <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
