<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Clara-Mateo Alliance, Inc. <br />Elsa Segovia Center <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this rday of <br /> <br />0 tbØr:/) <br />, <br /> <br />2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Clara-Mateo Alliance, Inc., a California <br /> <br />nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides daytime services to families who are homeless <br />or at risk of being homelessness; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br /> <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1,2003, and ending June 30,2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Seven Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($7,000). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. <br /> <br />City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> <br />Seven Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($7,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1,2003, and ending June 30,2004, solely for the purposes <br /> <br />described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />USE OF FUNDS. <br /> <br />Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br /> <br />Paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibits A (Budget) & B. <br /> <br />9/11/03 <br /> <br />. ....-........ --.., T . <br />
