Exhibit 'A" <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> <br /> CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT FOR <br /> WATER STORAGE RESERVOIR NO. 2 <br /> <br /> This scope of services includes only the construction engineering services <br /> work associated with this project, designed by CB2M Bill, as follows: <br /> <br /> OFFICE ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> <br /> 1. Bid and Award Phase <br /> <br /> 1.1 Attend prebid conference. <br /> <br /> 1.2 Prepare Contracts Administration Manual (CAM). <br /> <br /> CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION SERVICES <br /> <br /> The Engineer shall appoint from the Engineer's staff, a Construction Manager. <br /> The Construction Manager shall represent and act on behalf of the City in <br /> administering the agreements between the City and the Contractor. In doing <br /> this, the Construction Manager shall be the single point of communication <br /> between the Engineer, and the Contractor, and the City. The authority limits <br /> of the Construction Manager in contract administration shall be as defined in <br /> the CAM prepared by the Construction Manager and approved by the City. <br /> <br /> Following award and execution of the Contract, provide field construction <br /> management and inspection services as follows: <br /> <br /> 2. Bazardous Waste Removal <br /> <br /> Provide full-time on-site inspection services during the removal of <br /> contaminated site materials. A trained hazardous waste specialist must <br /> be assigned specifically to monitor the Contractor's contaminated <br /> materials removal program. The hazardous waste engineer will be <br /> responsible for: <br /> <br /> 2.1 Establishing and f ~f''~ : '~' a personal health and safety plan <br />~;// &~/~¢ .... _~._= ,aintaining and operating appropriate monitoring <br /> equipment (BNu) and personal protective clothing.
