<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES - <br />EL CAMINO REAL MEDIAN LANDSCAPING PROJECT <br /> <br />. THIS, AGREEMENT, made and entered into this U day of <br /> <br /> <br />/ 1~'II1!:t ' 1999, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City") and JOHN CAHALAN, <br /> <br />ASLA, Landscape Architect of Redwood City, California ("Architect"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires preliminary design, preparation of plans, <br /> <br />specifications and contract documents for the EI Camino Real Median <br /> <br />Landscaping Project in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Architect represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. ARCHITECT'S SERVICES. Architect shall prepare preliminary design, <br /> <br />drawings, specifications, and specialized bid documents (not including City's <br /> <br />standard contract document provisions), together with cost estimates, and <br /> <br />perform related services for the Project as described in Exhibit "A" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT.
