<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING FOR MICROENTERPRISES <br />(SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER) <br /> <br />CANADA COLLEGE EDUCATION AND <br />TECHNOLOGY DOWNTOWN CENTER <br /> <br />",,"ü <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of <br />\"-~~ , 1999, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and CANADA COLLEGE <br />nonprofit political <br />EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY DOWNTOWN CENTER, a :6atifc:mKK <br />subdivision of the State of California (Contractor); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a job training program for low income <br /> <br />residents of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> <br />the sum of One Hundred Forty Thousand and no/lOO Dollars ($140,000.00) from its <br /> <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of One <br /> <br />Hundred Forty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($140,000.00) for exclusive use by <br /> <br />10/15/99 <br />
