DAS:sh 5/29/86 <br /> <br />its authorized representative, and the work shall be done in the <br />best workmanlike manner, conforming strictly to the provisions of <br />the specifications and plans made therefor. <br /> <br /> 4. In the performance of this agreement, eight (8) hours <br />shall be the maximum hours of labor on any calendar day, and the <br />minimum wages or compensation for persons performing labor in the <br />execution of this agreement shall be the prevailing scale of <br />wages as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations, for <br />a particular work or craft. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773.2 of the Labor <br />Code, the Contractor is hereby advised that copies of the <br />prevailing scale of per diem wages for each craft, <br />classification, or type of worker needed to execute the contract <br />are on file in the Office of the City Clerk, which shall be made <br />available to any interested party on request. <br /> <br /> The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Section <br />1776 of the Labor Code, and all amendments thereto, relating to <br />payroll records. <br /> <br /> The Contractor and each of its Subcontractors shall comply <br />with the provisions of Section 1777.5 of the Labor Code, and all <br />amendments thereto, relating to the employment of apprentices. <br /> <br /> Contractor shall forfeit as penalty to the City the sum of <br />Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) for each of the following <br />violations: <br /> <br /> (a) For each worker employed in the execution of this <br /> Agreement by him or by any Subcontractor for each calendar <br /> day, during which such worker is required or permitted to <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
