06/03/02 <br /> <br /> COPY <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 14443 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EASEMENT AGREEMENT <br /> FOR 1200 MARSH ROAD, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA; <br /> APPROVING THE REVISED LANGUAGE IN THE QUITCLAIM <br /> DEED; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 10309 <br /> <br /> [STATE FARM AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COMPANY <br /> 1200 MARSH ROAD, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA] <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 8, 1963, the City of Redwood City (the "City") <br />executed a deed (the "Grant Deed") with John M. Huish and his successors <br />("Grantee") (recorded May 16, 1963, in Volume 4457, Pages 526 through 528 in <br />the Official Records of the County of San Mateo, State of California), for certain <br />real property located in the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by the terms of the Grant Deed, Grantee was required to use <br />the property for specific purposes and Grantee's failure to abide by such <br />requirements could result in the City being able to re-enter and terminate the <br />estate; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 28, 1963, the City, Grantee, James W. Huish and <br />Marie A. Huish entered into an Agreement re Access to Property in the Vicinity of <br />Marsh Road (recorded June 4, 1963 in Volume 4471, Pages 453 through 457 in <br />the Official Records of the County of San Mateo, State of California), allowing for <br />the construction of a bridge across the Marsh Road drainage channel (the <br /> <br /> CITY OF RED~D CiTY <br />"Access Agreement"); and SIIda M. ~t~, Sr. Deputy C~7 Clerk of the City of Red~x~ City <br /> <br />F:Atty/Reso/Reso.1307 1 <br />052402 <br /> <br /> <br />
