<br />hereunder may be satisfied in whole or in part by adequately funded self- <br /> <br />insurance. <br /> <br />(b) Any insurance provider of NEXTLINK shall be admitted and authorized <br /> <br />to do business in California and shall be rated at least AX in A. M. Best and <br /> <br />Company's Insurance Guide. <br /> <br />Insurance certificates issued by non-admitted <br /> <br />insurance companies are not acceptable. <br /> <br />(c) If insurance is terminated for any reason, NEXTLINK agrees to <br /> <br />purchase an extended reporting provision of at least two (2) years to report claims <br /> <br />arising from work performed in connection with this Agreement. <br /> <br />(d) Policy allows for reporting of circumstances or incidents that might give <br /> <br />rise to future claims. <br /> <br />(e) In addition to the requirements described above, NEXTLINK shall <br /> <br />comply with any additional coverages required by federal, state or local laws, <br /> <br />rules and regulations. NEXTLINK and/or its contractors shall obtain all permits, <br /> <br />and other forms or documentation which are required and forward them to the <br /> <br />City Administrator with the required evidence of insurance. <br /> <br />16. Notifications. NEXTLINK shall, prior to the issuance of an <br /> <br />Encroachment Permit or consistent with other provisions of the Encroachment <br /> <br />Permit, certify to City in writing that it has provided or will provide written <br /> <br />notification of its intent to perform work to the residents and business operators of <br /> <br />all properties adjacent to the streets and/or right(s)-of-way where NEXTLINK will <br /> <br />be excavating.
