<br />an agreement between City and any Person or Agency. <br /> <br />"Standard Drawings and Specifications" means the general terms and <br /> <br />conditions, specifications, and requirements of City which governs the design, <br /> <br />construction, installation, and maintenance of any improvement within the Public <br /> <br />Right-of-way entitled, "Engineering Standards-City of Redwood City," adopted <br /> <br />December 16, 1991, as amended. This document is authored by the Community <br /> <br />Development Department of the City of Redwood City, Engineering Division, and <br /> <br />any reference to such document shall include any and all additions, deletions, <br /> <br />revisions, modifications, and updates to this document. This term shall include <br /> <br />any and all documents entitled "General Conditions" or words of similar import, <br /> <br />now or hereafter existing, which directly pertain to all aspects of general <br /> <br />construction work. <br /> <br />"Telecommunications Services" means the transmission of voice, data, <br /> <br />and information in rendering teleconferencing and other services which are <br /> <br />permitted to be offered by NEXTLINK under applicable Laws. <br /> <br />2. Term. (a) This Agreement shall be binding on the parties on the date <br /> <br />of its approval by the Council ("Effective Date"), and shall commence on the first <br /> <br />Day after the Effective Date and shall terminate fifteen (15) years from the <br /> <br />Effective Date (the "Term") or sooner by operating law, mutual agreement of the <br /> <br />parties, or as set forth in and pursuant to this Agreement. <br /> <br />(b) NEXTLINK is given the option to extend the Term of this Agreement <br /> <br />for a period of five (5) years following expiration of the Term.
