RCN and/or its contractors shall obtain all permits, and other forms <br /> <br />or documentation which are required and forward them to the City Administrator <br /> <br />with the required evidence of insurance. <br /> <br />All policies will be issued by insurers acceptable to the City. <br /> <br />Upon <br /> <br />evidence of financial capacity satisfactory to City, RCN's obligation hereunder <br /> <br />may be satisfied in whole or in part by adequately funded self-insurance. <br /> <br />(b) Any insurance provider of RCN shall be admitted and authorized to do <br /> <br />business in California and shall be rated at least AX in A. M. Best and <br /> <br />Company's Insurance Guide. <br /> <br />Insurance certificates issued by non-admitted <br /> <br />insurance companies are not acceptable. <br /> <br />(c) If insurance is terminated for any reason, RCN agrees to purchase an <br /> <br />extended reporting provision of at least two (2) years to report claims arising from <br /> <br />work performed in connection with this Agreement. <br /> <br />(d) Policy allows for reporting of circumstances or incidents that might give <br /> <br />rise to future claims. <br /> <br />(e) In addition to the requirements described above, RCN shall comply <br /> <br />with any additional coverages required by federal, state or local laws, rules and <br /> <br />regulations.
