<br />extended to the following Business Day. <br /> <br />"City" means the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State <br /> <br />of California. <br /> <br />"City Manager" means the individual designated as the City Manager <br /> <br />under Section 26 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City or his/her designee. <br /> <br />"Council" means those elected officials which are authorized to exercise <br /> <br />the powers granted to and vested in City under Government Code Section 37100, <br /> <br />et seq., and the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />"Day" means any calendar day, unless a Business Day is specified. For <br /> <br />the purposes hereof, the time in which an act is to be performed shall be <br /> <br />computed by excluding the first Day and including the last. <br /> <br />"Director" means the Director of Community Development or his/her <br /> <br />designee. <br /> <br />"Fee" means any assessment, license, charge, fee, imposition, tax (but <br /> <br />excluding the telephone users tax), or levy lawfully imposed by any governmental <br /> <br />body. <br /> <br />"Fiber Optic Network Facilities" or "Facilities" means without limitation, any <br /> <br />and all fiber optic, coaxial and copper cables, conduits, converters, splice boxes, <br /> <br />cabinets, hand-holes, manholes, pedestals, vaults, equipment, drains, surface <br /> <br />location markers, appurtenances and related facilities owned, leased or licensed <br /> <br />by RCN, located or to be located in the Public Right-of-Way of City and used or <br />Agmt-245 <br />G\shared\shared\Redwood\Coun c i I <br />FXS/fs <br />03/15/99 <br />04/05/99; 04/20/99 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />--------...---T-"'. <br />
