<br />being prepared by Brian Kangas Foulk & Associates, and entitled, "Improvement Plans <br /> <br />for Skyway Road Reconstruction" in San Carlos and Redwood City, Project No. 83- <br /> <br />9738. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. San Carlos will include in its contract for the above described project <br /> <br />provisions for surface drainage improvements, the placement of all traffic striping, and <br /> <br />street improvement work, street lighting systems within the incorporated area of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. San Carlos will award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />the complete construction project including, but not limited to, the installation of surface <br /> <br />drainage improvements, the placement of traffic striping, street lighting systems, and <br /> <br />roadway improvement work. <br /> <br />3. San Carlos agrees to notify Redwood City of the successful bidder to <br /> <br />whom the construction is awarded. <br /> <br />4. Redwood City grants San Carlos permission to encroach onto that <br /> <br />portion of Skyway Road between Airport Drive and the proposed project limits 640 feet <br />northerly- of the City limit situate within the territory of the City of Redwood City (as <br /> <br />more particularly depicted in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein as if set out in full herein), and to include said Redwood City portion <br /> <br />of Skyway Road in Plans and Specifications to be entitled, "Improvement Plans for <br /> <br />Skyway Road Reconstruction" in San Carlos and Redwood City. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br />".
