AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY OFFICE OF HOUSING <br /> AND <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY-FAIR OAKS COMMU1vITY CENTER <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this��day of��'��1999,by and <br /> between the COLJNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political subdivision of the State of California, <br /> hereinafter referred to as "County", and City of Redwood City - Fair Oaks Community Center, <br /> hereinafter referred to as "Contractor". <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with <br /> independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department <br /> thereof; and <br /> WI�REAS, it is necessary and desirable that Contractor be retained for the purpose of <br /> performing the professional services specified herein (occasionally referred to as "the Project") from <br /> Contractor; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> 1.
