<br />J ;};\t;flt, 1 , <br />;,liy.¡'f',,-IJ 1,'1' <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO.1 <br />TO THE COOPERATIVE SERVICE AGREEMENT (TRUST FUND) BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF <br />AGRICULTURE ANIMAL AND PLANT HEALTH INSPECTION SERVICE, <br />WILDLIFE SERVICE <br />[REDWOOD SHORES PREDATOR MANAGEMENT] <br /> <br />This Amendment No.1 is entered into and effective as of the Ii ~day of <br />~, 2004, amending the agreement signed October 21, 2002 (the <br />"Agreem~t"), by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation ("City"), and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal <br />and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Service rNS) (collectively, the <br />"Parties") for Redwood Shores predator management. <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. The Parties desire to provide for continued Agreement services at a set <br />fee for the period of time between October 1,2003 and September 30,2004. <br /> <br />B. In this regard, the Parties have negotiated and agreed to a supplemental <br />scope of work and fee schedule, which is attached to and incorporated by this reference <br />as Exhibit "A," Scope of Work/Budget Plan Between the City of Redwood City and <br />USDA, APHIS, Wildlife Services (WS)". <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. In addition to those services contained in the Agreement, USDA, APHIS, <br />WS will provide those services described in Exhibit "A." <br /> <br />2. City will pay USDA, APHIS, WS for all work associated with those services <br />described in Exhibit "A" a not to exceed amount of forty-eight thousand, one hundred <br />thirty four dollars ($48,134). <br /> <br />3. USDA, APHIS, WS will complete all work described in Exhibit "A" by <br />September 30, 2004. <br /> <br />4. The attached Exhibit "A" will replace, in its entirety, the Scope of <br />Work/Budget Plan Between the City and USDA, APHIS, WS for the period of time <br />between October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003. <br /> <br />5.
