The purpose of this program is to conduct predator damage management to reduce <br />predation of the federally listed California clapper rail and salt marsh harvest mouse from <br />various predators as listed in the City of Redwood City's Predator Management Plan for <br />Redwood Shores Peninsula as outlined in the Cooperative Service Agreement. Upon <br />receipt of funds from the City of Redwood City for Predator Management, USDA-WS <br />will continue ongoing predator management activities. <br /> <br />2. WS will attempt to work this project with another project when possible, to make the <br />predator management activities stretch over a longer time period to cover work for a 12- <br />month period for a maximum of 25 hours per week. <br /> <br />3. WS will provide equipment, supplies, and other support necessary to perform predator <br />management activities. <br /> <br />4. WS will conduct predator removal activities within the guidelines described in the City of <br />Redwood City Predator Management Plan for the Redwood Shores Peninsula. <br /> <br />5. WS will provide a quarterly summary of predator management activities pursuant to the <br />work identified above to the City and an annual report on the predator management <br />activities conducted the previous year to the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Ecological <br />Services, Endangered Species Division. Quarterly reports will be prepared by WS and <br />submitted to Peter Vorametsanti, Project and Systems engineer. The reports will represent <br />predator management activities and results including a description of activities, methods <br />utilized, number of hours expended, observation of other animals not currently included <br />as target species, and the species and numbers of each species of target and non-target <br />species trapped and the location of each animal taken. Also documented will be any <br />problems encountered which interfere with implementation of the program and <br />
