<br />Exhibit" A" <br /> <br />LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br /> <br />The following services are included in landscape maintenance services to be provided by City <br />to Authority. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Pruning, trimming, shaping, fertilizing, and the perfonnance of other <br />custonwy maintenance techniques and activities for ground cover, <br />shrubbery, trees, and other decorative vegetation in and around the <br />landscaped areas located at the "Premises" hereinafter defined; and <br />replacement planting of said ground cover, shrubbery, trees and <br />vegetation. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Application of fertilizer or similar substances custonwy for the <br />maintenance and growth of landscape ground cover, shrubbery, trees <br />and other decorative vegetation. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Application of insecticides and herbicides for the control of <br />deleterious insect infestation and plant disease, respectively. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Replacement and repair of irrigation system pans including heads, <br />emitters, valves, pipe, wire and valve boxes. Monitoring and <br />programming of irrigation schedules. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />a~an and maintain the southerly parking lot, front entry way and <br />staIrS. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Provide level "C" (weed control and trash removal) maintenance <br />adjacent to the land buffer along Radio Road. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Provide hand weeding as required for the soil bed scrubber located at <br />the Redwood City sewer pwnp station. <br /> <br />The "Premises" above referenced includes the landscaped grounds surrounding or in the <br />vicinity of Authority wastewater treatment plant located at 1400 Radio Road, Redwood City, <br />California and the 4 sewer pwnp stations serving the Authority, one each located in <br />Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City and Menlo Park. <br /> <br />Exhibit A <br /> <br />1/15/1999 <br /> <br />.
