<br />DES:d:ik 01/09/98 <br /> <br />(028/66) <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />ANNEXATION AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT entered into this ---- day of <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />1998 <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />between <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and JOHN RALEIGH <br /> <br />("Owner") ; <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Owner owns all that certain real property situate <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo, <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />more <br /> <br />particularly described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and <br /> <br />by this reference incorporated herein (the "Property); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Property is <br /> <br />located within City's Sphere of <br /> <br />Influence as determined by the San Mateo County Local Agency <br /> <br />Formation Commission pursuant to Government Code Section 54774; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> <br />adopted <br /> <br />, 1998 by the Council of Redwood City consent was granted to <br /> <br />annexation of the Property to the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance <br /> <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as a condition to said consent to annexation to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />District, <br /> <br />Owner <br /> <br />was <br /> <br />required <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />evidence <br /> <br />consent <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />annexation to City and waiver of protest to such annexation in <br /> <br />the event the Property were to be proposed for annexation to <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Owner desires to evidence such consent and waiver <br /> <br />as aforesaid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; the Parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Consent. <br /> <br />In the event the Property shall be proposed <br />
