<br />SAN MATEO OPERATIONAL AREA <br /> <br />JPA REVISION <br /> <br />services office and will also be responsible for <br /> <br />achievement of the purposes of the Emergency Services <br /> <br />Organization, including: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Emergency <br /> <br />Response <br /> <br />coordination <br /> <br />planning <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />during any emergency in accordance with adopted <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />emergency plans. <br />Plans and Operations - preparation, development, <br /> <br />coordination, and integration of unified area-wide <br /> <br />emergency plans for adoption by the Area Emergency <br /> <br />services Council. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Communications - development and maintenance of an <br /> <br />area-wide <br /> <br />communications <br /> <br />service, <br /> <br />emergency <br /> <br />including public warning. <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Public Education and Information - direction of an <br /> <br />area-wide public education and information program. <br /> <br />e. Recruitment and Training coordination and <br /> assistance in the recruitment and training of <br /> emergency personnel. <br />f. General Administration coordination and <br /> <br />assistance <br /> <br />in the procurement and <br /> <br />inventory of <br /> <br />emergency equipment; <br /> <br />federal matching funds and <br /> <br />surplus property; and management of maintenance and <br /> <br />distribution <br /> <br />area-wide <br /> <br />inventories <br /> <br />vital <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />supplies and equipment. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />Coordinator <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />Area <br /> <br />Emergency <br /> <br />furnished with such staff as is necessary, and authorized <br /> <br />by the Area Emergency Services council, to carry out the <br /> <br />above duties. <br /> <br />3 APRIL 97 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />SAN MATEO AREA OES <br />
