He <br />commended a Redwood City reserve officer who has a background in <br />growing up in the Middle East, subsequently, serving in the Special Forces <br />in the United States who knows terrorist groups The officer is <br />now assigned to the Joint Terrorist Task Force, the only reserve serving in <br />such a role, has trained many thousand law enforcement officers, FBI <br />agents, and first responders in what to expect responding to a <br />terrorist incident. Appreciation was expressed for the support and <br />cooperation in battling international terrorism. <br />B. Proclamation <br />• Water Awareness Month <br />Mayor Ira read the proclamation on Water Awareness Month. <br />C. Acknowledgment of Water Conservation Poster Contest Winners <br />• Alia Murray, Claire Bugos, Kyla Guinon, Briana Das, Katherine Jabba, <br />Christian Ruano, Nicole Schiel, Elizabeth Slover, Katherine Rose Albert, <br />Mariana Frey, Katelyn Black, Janine Penafort, Danielle Eggli, Kim <br />Cervantes, Kylie Komejan, and Jesus Garcia. <br />Mayor Ira thanked and congratulated all of the winners and presented <br />them with a proclamation acknowledging their accomplishment. <br />6.
