<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO.1 <br />TO AGREEMENT FOR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br /> <br />(CITY OF FOSTER CITY) <br /> <br />This Amendment No.1 is entered into and effective as of the ,t!IJi day of <br />~ ' 2006, amending the Agreement dated August 2, 2004, (the <br />"Agre ent") by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City"), and the City of Foster City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("Foster City") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. On August 2, 2004, the Parties hereto entered into an Agreement for vehicle <br />maintenance services, which Agreement sets forth the rights, responsibilities, duties <br />and restrictions regarding vehicle maintenance. <br /> <br />B. The Parties now wish to amend Section 4. Compensation; Costs; <br />Revisions of said Agreement to reflect current labor rates for maintenance and repair <br />services. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Foster City will pay City for all work associated with those services <br />described in the Agreement at an adjusted rate of $106.21 per hour. City will provide <br />Foster City, on a monthly basis, copies of invoices sufficiently detailed to include hours <br />performed, hourly rates, and related activities and costs for approval by Foster City. <br /> <br />2.
