<br />DES:dft- 6/30/93 (024/33) <br />7/19/93R <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />implementation of the County-wide General Program <br /> <br />of the Storm Water Management Plan requires funding in the amount <br /> <br />of Three Hundred One Thousand Six Hundred Sixty Seven Dollars <br /> <br />($301,667), for the fiscal year July 1, 1993 - June 30, 1994, for <br /> <br />which a levy or assessment in the amount of $1.50 per parcel of <br /> <br />real property within the Flood Control District is proposed to be <br /> <br />collected; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City has held a hearing upon <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />proposal <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />fund <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />County-wide <br /> <br />NPDES <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />Program <br /> <br />through the San Mateo County Flood Control District; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This Council hereby respectfully requests the San Mateo <br /> <br />County Board of Supervisors, acting as the governing board of the <br /> <br />San Mateo County Flood Control District, to impose those charges, <br /> <br />levies <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />assessments <br /> <br />necessary <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />fund <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />County-wide <br /> <br />stormwater NPDES General Program. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />This Council hereby approves the above-mentioned draft <br /> <br />Stormwater <br /> <br />Management <br /> <br />Plan, <br /> <br />subject <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />submission <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />final <br /> <br />comments to be made within the appropriate comment period after <br /> <br />submission of said plan to the San Francisco Bay Regional Water <br /> <br />Quality Control Board. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The City Clerk <br /> <br />is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />forward a certified copy of this resolution to the San Mateo <br /> <br />County Board of Supervisors, acting as the Board of Directors of <br /> <br />the San Mateo County Flood Control District. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
