<br />DES:d1:ht 06/09/93 <br /> <br />(086/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />6/21/93 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12005 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF MACINTOSH <br />COM,PUTERS, PRINTERS, SCANNER AND ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br /> <br />notice <br /> <br />invi ting bids <br /> <br />to be published <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />Macintosh computers, 3 printers, 1 color printer, 1 color scanner <br /> <br />and associated software <br /> <br />(the "Equipment") <br /> <br />for the Department of <br /> <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />publication <br /> <br />two <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Computer Selection of Redwood City, California is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Computer <br /> <br />Selection <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />in the <br /> <br />total <br /> <br />amount of <br /> <br />Seventy-four Thousand <br /> <br />Six <br /> <br />Hundred Eighty-two and 34/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($74,682.34), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated May 31, 1993 for the <br /> <br />sale of said Equipment, which bid is on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Clerk, <br /> <br />to which <br /> <br />reference <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby made <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />full <br /> <br />particulars <br /> <br />thereof, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />accepted, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />bidder <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />
